OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
One of our most dreadful times in life is when we are pushed out of our comfort zones. You see, there’s this conditioning in each one of us that seeks to maintain comfort and stay within the ‘safe zone’ of what is naturally comfortable to us. It’s our body’s way of maintaining its own balance, keeping us healthy and secure. But I’ve come to discover in the past few years of my young life that the people doing some of the greatest things in life are those that have learnt to find delight operating outside of their comfort zones. I once heard Farrah Gray said ‘everything you need is just outside of your comfort zone.’ I have enough evidence, personal experiences and those that came from observing people around the world, to attest to that truth.

Fear of the unknown
Can I stir up the still waters of your innermost being? Will you allow me rock your boat a little? Many times we allow the fear of the unknown to keep us from moving forward and possessing the territories that are rightfully ours. Fear of the unknown has kept many people from daring bigger things and reaching forth for the great potentials in them. It has paralyzed many people’s dreams and hopes, leaving them just dragging along in life, with no drive, no enthusiasm, just merely accepting whatever life throws at them as their own ‘fate’.

Who says you are a victim?
Fear of the unknown has left many as just victims of circumstance rather than victors they were meant to be. Who said that you were meant to be a victim? Who lied to you that you were just unlucky with life so you got disappointments, shame, failures and all sort of bad things of life? May I tell you that there’s much more to you than you have chosen to accept; can I announce to you that life has so many goodies in stuck for you than what the circumstances around you are making you believe. Excuse me, I’m not trying to cajole you or sweet-tongue you; I’m simply telling you the truth about yourself and about life that you are yet to come to terms with.

Stepping out of you comfort zones
The best of you is unleashed when you step beyond the safe zones of your comfort and dare to launch into unfamiliar territories. I have experienced this again and again and I’ve come to discover powers within me that I never knew were there; I’ve seen strengths where I once thought it’s all a bundle of weaknesses; I have seen myself do things that I never thought I could ever dared. Just like the eaglet, I’ve seen myself flap my tiny wings when it seems like I was going to fall to the ground, only to discover that I’ve been covering up great energy under those wings without knowing. The eaglet was born with all the potentials of an eagle but may never learn to soar if mother eagle isn’t wise enough to shake the baby bird out of its comfort zone to the vulnerable zones of the heights and winds.

You never know until…
The point is you will never know what you are truly made of until you step out of the box of your comfort. Henry Ford was right when he said ‘there is no man on earth that is not capable of doing more than what he thinks he can.’ And you can never know until you dare to try. That’s where true genius lie; that’s where the best of creativity is embedded, out there in the deep, amidst the fierce waves. I’ve come to discover that invisible forces come to the aid of the man that will dare to step out with faith and courage, and dare things that seem ‘impossible’.

Join us in the next edition as we discuss how you can begin to unleash the great potentials in you as you step out of your comfort zone. We shall be discussing:
*Power of your desire
*Power of your words
*Power of vision/purpose

The Power of Foresight

What is foresight?
According to the dictionary, it is the ability to think ahead, to envision possible future obstacles, to see beforehand things to come.
If there is one thing that will set you apart in the times we are, it is this rare quality called 'foresight'. Foresight helps you position yourself accurately for the time to come; it helps you prepare for challenges and opportunities before they finally show up. Hear what King Solomon of ancient Israel said: "A prudent man foresees the evil and hide himself; but the simple pass on and are punished".  The 'simple' here is someone that is naive or foolish, King Solomon called a man without foresight 'simple'. And what happens to the 'simple'? He is beaten with stripes in life.
May I inform you that men with foresight today are those that will take the lead in the days to come. This has repeated itself again and again all through history. They are always a minority set of people yet leading the majority. They are those that will set the pace on the economic and socio-political scene.
Joseph was such a man in his time. He saw ahead of all of Egypt and many other nations a coming famine. He therefore stored up enough food to cater for the 7yrs of famine. By his rare gift of foresight, he became the prime minister of the Egypt, the then world power.
You must be able to foresee change before it comes. Have foresight.

'Our deepest fear'

This is one poem I read that really inspired me and I'm sure will inspire you too.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate,
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, ‘who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?’
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us
It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fears, our presence automatically liberates others.

Check your deepest self: are you not sub-consciously afraid of  getting so great, successful, wealthy? Are you not repelling your own success by that deep-rooted fear?

From within

"First within, then without" - fundamental law of life
Every change on see on the outside first began on the inside. You navigate life from within and not without. If you can get it right on the inside, it will naturally work out right by itself on the outside.
Many are trying to live their lives from the outside, and that why they keep struggling. Show me a truly successful man, and I will show you a man who has learnt the art of  tapping into the power within him.
So you may want to ask: how do I tap into the power within me?

  • power of thoughts
Thoughts are the mind's major tool of expression. Your life is a direct product of your thoughts. Your thoughts, whether you are aware of this or not, have shaped your life the way it is today. Your thought is like a magnet that attracts to your life opportunities, people and circumstances that are in alignment with those thoughts. Your thoughts are seeds planted that germinate and grow out, bringing forth fruit of the kind of seed-thought planted!  This leads me to the next point...

  • power of words
It is from the abundance of thoughts within you that your words come from. And your words either justifies you or condemns you. King Solomon told us that "life and death are in the power of the tongue." You set the course of your life by the things you say with your mouth. Many people are digging their own early grave and setting themselves up for defeat without knowing by the negative and destructive things they are saying. You see them talk frustration, impossibilities, hopelessness, fear, problems...

  • power of your spirit
The greatest of your powers lie in your spirit. Your spirit transcends the level of your soul(mind). Your spirit has the inherent capacity to connect  and commune with God. So by your spirit, which is activated at salvation, you can assess divine insights, directions; you can access strength that is beyond ordinary to break through the barriers of life; you can set some powerful forces in motion. This is the essence of prayer.

In conclusion...
What are you giving your eyes and your ears to? This is what primarily determines your thoughts which will consequently be reflected in your words. Start learning to live life from within;set the course of your life by the power of positive and wholesome thoughts(I strongly recommend becoming addicted to the God's word),talking rightly and tapping into the power of your spirit in the place of prayer.

You are too loaded!

"There is no man on earth that is not capable of doing more than what he thinks he can" - Henry Ford
You will never know how much you can really do until you dare to try. There is so much more to you than you actually realise. You carry so much potentials which if unleashed, will bless many lives and bring about a great change in our world. Hitherto, you have been locking up these potentials on your inside. Yet, these locked up gems are crying for expression. If only you can hear the silent cry; if only you can reach deep within yourself and let lose the streams within you.
Many lives will remain thirsty because you kept back from them the 'waters' from your deep streams. There is a book in you that lives are waiting to read; a song in you that lives are waiting to be blessed by; an idea in you that will improve the quality of life of many lives; a vision in you that will change the world...

The whole world is waiting...UNLEASH YOUR POTENTIALS!
